Detroit, MI- The Tigers return home on Monday, June 30 to begin a nine-game homestand at Comerica Park. The homestand opens with a three-game rematch of the 2012 and 2013 ALDS against the Oakland Athletics. First pitch for Monday and Tuesday's games are at 7:08 p.m. and the series concludes with a 1:08 p.m. start on Wednesday. The Tampa Bay Rays come to town for a holiday weekend series Thursday-Sunday. First pitch on Thursday and Friday is at 7:08, Saturday's contest begins at 4:08 and the series concludes with an appearance on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball at 8:08 p.m. The homestand concludes with a rare trip to Detroit by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tuesday's game begins at 7:08 p.m. while Wednesday's first pitch is at 1:08 p.m.

Monday, June 30 vs. Oakland Athletics at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m. 

· 30th Anniversary of the 1984 World Series Championship: Prior to the game on Monday, the Tigers will celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the Tigers 1984 World Series championship. The first 20,000 fans into the ballpark will receive a 1984 replica road jersey, courtesy of Comerica Bank. Members of the 1984 team will be on-hand for a special Q&A with fans in the Big Cat Court from 5:00- 6:00 p.m. Prior to the start of the game, the 1984 team will be honored on the field in a special pre-game ceremony featuring highlight videos from the '84 season and testimonials from some of the players. A member of the '84 team will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the ballpark early for this special event, and be in their seats no later than 6:30 p.m. so that they won't miss a minute of the action.
· Mario's MVP: Each Monday home game during the 2014 season, Tigers broadcaster, Mario Impemba invites 30 Veterans of all eras and the families impacted by the loss of a loved one in support of our nation, to come to the ballpark on the FOX Sports Detroit Fan Express and enjoy a Tigers game. Each Veteran or family member is given a special "MVP" t-shirt, game ticket and food voucher thanks to Mario Impemba and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. On June 30, Mario's MVPs are Veterans and their families from Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bruce Post No. 1146 in Saint Claire Shores, Michigan. They will have the opportunity to meet Impemba prior to the game at the FOX Sports Detroit stage in the Brushfire Grill at 5:40 p.m.

Tuesday, July 1 vs. Oakland Athletics at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

· Play Baseball Detroit Day: The Tigers will celebrate the Play Baseball Detroit program in a special pre-game, on-field ceremony prior to tonight's game against the Athletics. Play Baseball Detroit is a comprehensive urban youth baseball outreach program dedicated to encouraging and supporting youth baseball and softball programs in the greater Detroit region. The ceremony will feature youth ball players from Tiny Tigers, Baseball FUNdamentals, the Detroit Tigers Hometown Championship and Team Tigers. In addition, the ceremony will also feature the 2014 Team Tigers Coach of the Year, Crystal Hurlbert and the 2014 Champions Award Winner, Garrett Street. The Team Tigers Coach of the Year award recognizes a Team Tigers coach for their dedication to the game of baseball/softball, while the 2014 Champions Award recognizes and individual for his/her long-standing dedication and/or profound impact on the game of baseball/softball.
· Kinsler's Kids Program: Through the generosity of Tigers infielder Ian Kinsler and his wife Tess, the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, the Kinsler family invites 20 guests from local charitable organizations focused on serving the needs of children to attend a Tigers baseball game. Kinsler's Kids provides families the opportunity to enjoy a special evening of Tigers baseball at Comerica Park in the Kinsler Family luxury suite, "Kinsler's Kids" t-shirts, ballpark fare catering and an autographed photo signed by Ian Kinsler. Tonight's "Kinsler's Kids" are from the Children's Center which leads the way in providing an integrated approach to community mental health that treats the whole child and the whole family. With community partners, The Children's Center offers meaningful solutions that address mental, physical and behavioral health, abuse and neglect, and poverty challenges currently faced by over 100,000 children in the Greater Detroit area.
· Game Ball Delivery: Tonight's game ball will be delivered by Sergeant Patrick Haney of the United States Marine Corps from Canton, Michigan.
· The national anthem will be performed by vocalist Gaeyle Gerrie-Boss.

· United States Citizenship and immigration Services Naturalization Ceremony: Prior to today's game 60 individuals will be sworn in as American citizens during a pre-game, on-field ceremony at Comerica Park. The oath will be administered by Judge John Corbett O'Meara through the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. The new American Citizens and their families will receive complimentary tickets courtesy of the Detroit Tigers to enjoy America's favorite pastime after becoming the country's newest citizens.
· Game Ball Delivery: Today's game ball will be delivered by Corporal Dylan Pennington of the United States Marine Corps from Hastings, Michigan.

Friday, July 4, Independence Day at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

· The first 10,000 fans 21-and-older will receive a Stars & Stripes tumbler, courtesy of Miller Lite.
· Armed Forces and Veterans Recognition Game: The Detroit Tigers are proud to celebrate the dedication and sacrifice of current and former members of the Armed Forces on Independence Day. The Tigers donated 1,500 tickets to local members of the Armed Forces and Veterans, along with their families to attend tonight's game. More than 600 active duty service members and Veterans are invited to participate in a special pre-game, on-field ceremony recognizing their commitment and service to the United States. As a part of the evening's celebration, Keith Sekuterski of the Disabled American Veterans Detroit Regional Office and Lieutenant Colonel Shawn Holtz, Commander of the 107^th Fighter Squadron from Selfridge Air National Guard Base will throw out the ceremonial first pitches. Staff Sergeant Mario Jimenez of the 127^th Wing of the United States Ari Force will sing the national anthem and God Bless America, and Technical Sergeant William Hyde of the 171^st Aerial Refueling Squadron will deliver the game ball. Plus, the Tigers and the Rays will don special camouflage logo caps in honor of Independence Day.
· ALS Awareness: In remembrance of the 75^th anniversary of Lou Gehrig's speech, Major League Baseball has partnered with ALS organizations nationwide to raise awareness about the disease and honor the great Lou Gehrig, who inspired so many with his outstanding on-field achievements and unparalleled strength of body, mind and character. As baseball remembers the legend, all teams, including the Tigers honor all of those who have been touched by ALS. As part of the day, representatives from the ALS Association Michigan Chapter, ALS of Michigan and the Muscular Dystrophy Association Greater Detroit District will be recognized on the field prior to tonight's game and the club will pay tribute to the 75^th anniversary of Gehrig's speech. All uniformed personnel will wear a commemorative patch on their jersey to recognize the anniversary of the speech.
· Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle continues at Comerica Park this season at every Friday and Saturday home game. The partner charity for this weekend's 50/50 raffle is the South Oakland Shelter, ALS of Michigan, ALS Association of Michigan Chapter and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Greater Detroit District. Tickets will be sold on a digital platform and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game. Since inception of the program in 2009, the 50/50 Charity Raffle program has raised more than $685,400 for charity with the single largest one-game prize of the program being $16,096.50.
· Tigers Wives Autographed Baseball and Photo Grab Bag Sale: The Tigers Wives have joined the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities for a fundraising event to benefit the Tigers Wives Fund and the Detroit Tigers Foundation. For a $50 donation, Tigers fans will have the opportunity to purchase an autographed "grab bag", each containing an autographed baseball signed by a current Tigers player or Tigers alumni. For a $40 donation, Tigers fans can purchase a photo "grab bag" each containing an autographed 8x10" photo signed by a current Tigers player or coach, or Tigers alumni. The Tigers Wives will be stationed at Gate A selling grab bags during Friday and Saturday's games.

· Game Ball Delivery: Today's game ball will be delivered by Sergeant First Class Jay Gripentrog of the United States Army from Bay City, Michigan.
