MLB All-Stars from the Minnesota Twins and every other Major League Baseball team will travel through the streets of Minneapolis in Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Silverado and Camaro vehicles prior to the 2014 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15 in the tenth annual MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet. The players will start at the corner of Nicollet Mall & 13th St., turn down S. 7th St. and proceed to Target Field on an approximately 5,700 linear foot red carpet. A map of the route is included at the end of the relase.

The event, which is free for fans, will begin at 1:00 p.m. CT and is scheduled to feature all of the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Stars in Chevrolet Silverado trucks. Serving as Grand Marshal, Rod Carew will lead the parade through the streets in a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible. Following Carew, in honor of Little League Baseball's 75th anniversary, a group of Minneapolis area Little Leaguers will march in the procession. In addition, John Farrell and Mike Matheny, the AL and NL All-Star team managers, will lead their teams down the carpet in Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertibles. A number of Twins legends including Bert Blyleven, Paul Molitor and Tony Oliva and Melanie Iglesias, a host on Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave airing on MTV2, are scheduled to take part in the parade.

In addition, the 30 winners of the Target presents PEOPLE Magazine "All-Star Teachers" campaign, which honors current and retired teachers, will take part in the celebration. Leading them in the event will be Bullseye, Target's bull terrier mascot. The teachers were selected as part of a search for teachers who make an impact on the lives of their students and communities. Each winner represents one of the 30 MLB Clubs.

A number of MLB mascots, including the Minnesota Twins' T.C., will be along the route interacting with fans. With the outcome of the All-Star Game again determining which League will have home field advantage in the World Series, the Commissioner's Trophy given to the World Series Champion and crafted by Tiffany & Company will be on display as part of the MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet.

In addition, MLB will be giving away a pair of All-Star Game tickets to the two individuals attending the Red Carpet Parade who best show their passion for Major League Baseball and the All-Star Game through their attire and enthusiasm. For more information, please go to MLB.com.

MLB Network will telecast the event nationally at 3:00 p.m. ET, with a simulcast available on MLB.com. Greg Amsinger and Sean Casey will host the event for MLB Network with Heidi Watney conducting interviews and providing reports along the route. MLB Network will air an abbreviated version at 7:30 p.m. ET.

As part of the ongoing commitment by Major League Baseball to environmental sustainability, MLB is again working with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to implement measures to reduce the event's carbon emissions and make it more environmentally friendly. For the MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show, the players will be traveling on a red carpet made from 100 percent recycled fiber and produced by electricity produced by 100 percent renewable wind and solar power. Chevrolet will provide all-new Flex-Fuel Chevy Silverado vehicles for the players and their families during the parade.

Additionally, an all-star team of fashion and beauty experts have signed on to dress a group of players' wives exclusively for the event. Fashion houses Nicole Miller and 4.collective will provide dresses and event attire, Bobbi Brown's Professional Makeup Artists will provide special occasion makeup applications, and Aveda will be on-site to style their hair. Additional items will be provided by Mission Skincare, OPI and Tory Burch.
