Indians recall RHP Austin Adams

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative
to the Major League roster:

Recalled RHP AUSTIN ADAMS from Triple-A Columbus.

Optioned INF ZACH WALTERS to AAA Columbus.

Adams, 27, returns to the big league club for the second time this year, making two appearances
with the Indians from July 11-19 (2.0IP, 4H, 4R/ER). He has spent the remainder of the season at Triple-A Columbus where he has gone 2-2 with a 2.28 ERA (43.1IP, 34H, 11ER, 8 BB, 40 SO, .222 AVG) in 33 relief appearances. Austin has appeared in 3 games for the Clippers since being optioned back to Triple-A on July 21 (4.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 5 SO, 0 BB). Since May 29 he owns a Triple-A ERA of 0.42 (21.1IP, 10H, 1ER) in 16 games.
