Stand Up 2 Cancer Night and Red, White and Brew Highlight Pirates Ninth Homestand

The Pirates return to PNC Park from a ten-game, west coast road trip to host the Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Detroit Tigers. This homestand will be highlighted by Stand Up 2 Cancer Night on Friday, August 8; Zambelli Fireworks on Saturday, August 9; Red, White and Brew event on Sunday, August 10 and a Honus Wagner bobblehead giveaway on Tuesday, August 12.

Tuesday, August 5, 2014 - Pirates vs. Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)
• Pups in the Park: Fans can enjoy Bucco baseball with their pooch as the Pirates present Pup Nights at PNC Park. Each ticket package (1 person & 1 dog) costs just $28 with additional human tickets available for $28 each. • You Score as Bucs Score: Thanks to the fan-value "You Score as the Bucs Score" promotion select tickets for today's game were placed on sale for as low as $17. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 - Pirates vs. Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)
• Energy Night: Tonight friends and neighbors from the energy industry join with the Pirates as they host the inaugural Energy Night at PNC Park. Pirates Energy Night will feature special group ticket options, an official Energy Night T-Shirt, and a portion of all ticket proceeds contributing toward "STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) driven educational initiatives. • Have Mercer: Today Pirates infielder Jordy Mercer will meet with fans and sign autographs from noon to 1 p.m. at the Potter PNC Bank location (437 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219).
• Junior Pirates Night: Tonight, over 1,500 Junior Pirates players and coaches from 14 different communities will participate in a pregame group salute. "Junior Pirates" is a 25-year-old program that is a cooperative effort between the City of Pittsburgh's BIG League Sports program, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities to introduce the fundamentals of baseball to youth ages 4 thru 8. All Junior Pirate participants are honored at PNC Park on Junior Pirates Night and receive complimentary tickets - courtesy of the Pirates - to tonight's game.
• Disability Awareness Celebration: Tonight is one of three Disability Awareness Nights at PNC Park. • STAND UP TO CANCER NIGHT (SU2C): Tonight special ticket packages were sold as part of Stand Up To Cancer Night (SU2C) at PNC Park. Each ticket included a $10 donation to SU2C, a seat in the special SU2C section (Upper Level Bleacher Reserved), and a SU2C cap.

o This banner will also be located on the RiverWalk inside the ballpark at gametime for fans wishing

An opportunity to participate in the Pirates Charities/SU2C pregame silent auction/raffle.
Players' Wives Player Basket/Quilt Raffle: The Pirates Players' Wives will be hosting a "Players Basket" raffle and silent auction outside the Guest Relations on the main concourse from 5:30 p.m. through the 6th inning. Baskets from players and coaches include autographed items as well as some of their favorite things such as snacks, books, movies and more. Also for raffle will be a special Pirates SU2C quilt.
50/50 Raffle: Proceeds from tonight's 50/50 raffle will be donated to SU2C!
• Friday Block Party: Tonight is another Friday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans will enjoy live music, featuring Totally 80's, and can party on the street with food and beer sales. Pirates alumni Jim Rooker will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar that will be located on Federal Street.
• Pirates PNC Bank Debit Card Game: As part of the many fan-friendly values at PNC Park, tonight is a Pirates PNC Bank Debit Card game. Saturday, August 9, 2014 - Pirates vs. San Diego Padres (7:05 p.m.)
• Miracle League Fantasy Camp: Today from noon to 2 p.m., Chairman Bob Nutting, Frank Coonelly, Pirates players and coaches will join Pirates Charities and the Miracle League of the Ohio Valley for a special Miracle League Fantasy Camp at the Miracle League Field of the Ohio Valley in Wheeling, WV. The day will include a special clinic to instruct Miracle League players on the fundamentals of baseball as participants rotate through five stations, each staffed by a member of the Pirates.
• Bullpen in the Community: Today from noon to 1 p.m. members of the Pirates bullpen will be signing autographs in the greater Pittsburgh area. Please see below for locations.

Elementary: Pirates All-Star left-hander Tony Watson will be at the Mt. Lebanon Primanti Brothers location (1539 Washington Rd Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228).
Mr. Wilson: Pirates left-hander Justin Wilson will be at the Norwin Hills Shopping Center PNC Bank (8735 Norwin Ave, North Huntingdon, PA 15642).
• Saturday Block Party: Today is a Saturday Block Party as fans will enjoy food and beer sales on Federal Street as Pirates alumni Frank Thomas will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar.
• Zambelli Fireworks Night: Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats immediately following the game and enjoy an amazing fireworks display presented by Zambelli Fireworks International, courtesy of PPG Industries.
• Scratch 'n Win: Everyone is a winner with the special Scratch 'n Win presented by Eat 'n Park. All fans with receive a scratch-off ticket upon entering PNC Park with an opportunity to win one of several great prizes.

Sunday, August 10, 2014 - Pirates vs. San Diego Padres (1:35 p.m.)
• Kids Pirates Ice Cream Bowl: Kids 14 and younger will receive a Pirates ice cream bowl, presented by Sincerely Yogurt.
• Red, White & Brew: Beginning at 7 p.m., Pirates President Frank Coonelly and his wife Debbie, and GM Neal Huntington and his wife Becca will host Red, White & Brew - a "Wine and Beer Pairing Event" in the Budweiser Bow-Tie Bar at PNC Park. • Honus Bobblehead: Tonight the first 25,000 fans in attendance at PNC Park will receive a Honus Wagner Bobblehead. The former Pirates shortstop was among the first members elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936 as he won eight batting crowns and ended his 17-year career with a .329 batting average.

Military Ticket Discount
The Pirates are proud to team up with GovX.com to offer discounted tickets to active-duty, reserve, veteran, and retired service members and their families. All season long military members are invited to save up to $10 per ticket on select seats at PNC Park. College Student Discount
For select games during the 2014 season, students with a valid college email address will receive a special discount off the advance ticket price of select games. To receive the code, college students may simply fill out the form at pirates.com/student. Each code is valid for up to fourteen tickets.

Dynamic Pricing Section
The Pirates popular dynamic pricing system is back in 2014 and includes both the Bleacher Reserve and Upper Bleacher Reserve sections of PNC Park.
