Blue Jays claim Hynes

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have claimed LHP COLT HYNES off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers. He will report to the Buffalo Bisons.

HYNES, 29, has spent the season with Albuquerque of the Pacific Coast League (AAA), posting a 1-3 record with a 4.08 ERA in 42 relief appearances. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma native made his Major League debut in 2013 for San Diego, appearing in 22 games, recording a 9.00 ERA in 17 innings. In eight minor league seasons, Hynes has posted a 3.64 ERA in 365 games.
