Get your tickets now to see the Tigers take on the San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Indians during a huge nine-game homestand at Comerica Park. The homestand opens with a rematch of the 2012 World Series against the San Francisco Giants. Friday's contest begins at 7:08 p.m., first pitch on Saturday is at 1:08 p.m. and the series concludes with an appearance on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball at 8:07 p.m. The Kansas City Royals come to town for three games Monday-Wednesday September 8-10. Monday's contest begins at 4:08 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday's games start at 7:08 p.m. After an off-day on the 11th, the homestand concludes with three games against the Cleveland Indians September 12-14. First pitch for Friday and Saturday's games is 7:08 p.m. and the homestand concludes with a 1:08 p.m. start on Sunday.

- Gloves for Kids Weekend of Giving: For the 11th consecutive year, the Tigers will be collecting new and gently used baseball and softball equipment outside of Comerica Park to benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. The Tigers will be accepting donations outside of Gate A (by the Big Tiger) beginning two hours prior to first pitch all weekend long. In addition, the first 250 fans to donate will receive a special gift from the Detroit Tigers. Give a child the opportunity to play the game of baseball with a donation to Gloves for Kids! You do not need a game ticket to donate.
- The first pitches will be thrown out by Red Wings forward Luke Glendening and Olympic gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White.
- PALS for Patriots: The Detroit Tigers partners with PALS for Patriots and Major League Baseball Advanced Media to host wounded Veterans who are receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. PALS is a 501(c)3 organization made up of over 350 pilots who donate their time and planes to fly sick people in need of treatment at no cost to the patient. With the help of MLB.com, PALS for Patriots was formed in 2013 as a mental health initiative to bring wounded veterans from Walter Reed to MLB games throughout the country. Each month PALS flies to Walter Reed to pick up wounded veterans and brings them to an MLB city for the night. While in Detroit, 10 guests from PALS for Patriots have the opportunity to watch batting practice from the field. After batting practice the group dines in the exclusive Tiger Club before watching the Tigers take on the San Francisco Giants.  
- Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle continues at Comerica Park this season at every Friday and Saturday home game. The partner charity for this weekend's 50/50 raffle is Camp Mak-a-Dream Michigan Chapter. The mission of Friends of Camp Mak-A-Dream, Michigan Chapter is to support the mission and goals of Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana by providing strategic, financial and marketing support for specifically chosen projects that will further the growth and advancement of Camp Mak-A-Dream, a cost-free camp program for children and young adults with cancer. The Michigan Chapter provides a cost-free camp experience and often times cost-free transportation for Michigan residents to attend the camp. Each year campers are recruited from across the state of Michigan.Tickets will be sold on a digital platform and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game. Since inception of the program in 2009, the 50/50 Charity Raffle program has raised more than $791,100 for charity with the single largest one-game prize of the program being $17,039.50.

- Kinsler's Kids Program: Through the generosity of Tigers infielder Ian Kinsler and his wife Tess, and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, the Kinsler family invites 20 guests from local charitable organizations focused on serving the needs of children to attend a Tigers baseball game. Kinsler's Kids provides families the opportunity to enjoy a special evening of Tigers baseball at Comerica Park in the Kinsler Family luxury suite, "Kinsler's Kids" t-shirts, ballpark fare catering and an autographed photo signed by Ian Kinsler. Today's Kinsler's Kids are from the Children's Hospital of Michigan. Tomorrow's "Kinsler's Kids" are from the Children's Center which leads the way in providing an integrated approach to community mental health that treats the whole child and the whole family. With community partners, The Children's Center offers meaningful solutions that address mental, physical and behavioral health, abuse and neglect, and poverty challenges currently faced by over 100,000 children in the Greater Detroit area.

- Mario's MVP: Each Monday home game during the 2014 season, Tigers broadcaster, Mario Impemba invites 30 Veterans of all eras and the families impacted by the loss of a loved one in support of our nation, to come down to the ballpark on the FOX Sports Detroit Fan Express and enjoy a Tigers game. Each Veteran or family member is given a special "MVP" t-shirt, game ticket and food voucher thanks to Mario Impemba and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. On September 8, Veterans from AMVETS Department of Michigan are Mario's MVPs. AMVETS mission is to enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services. They will have the opportunity to meet Impemba prior to the game at the FOX Sports Detroit stage in the Brushfire Grill at 2:40 p.m.
- The national anthem will be performed by the winner of the annual Detroit Stars Singing Competition held during the Tigers annual Negro Leagues Weekend Kavahna Webb.

- Willie Horton Batting for Kids Pre-game Ceremony: The 2014 Willie Horton's Batting for Kids took place at Comerica Park on Friday, July 11. Over 450 Detroit area youth age 5-15 participated in a development, and baseball skills competition. The participants competed for awards in three different skill areas including batting, throwing and baserunning. The top boy and girl in each age division will be recognized during a special pre-game on-field ceremony prior to tonight's game.
- The game ball will be delivered by Captain Colter Bahlau of the United States Marine Corps.
- FOX Sports Detroit Broadcast Auction: Throughout Tuesday's game, FOX Sports Detroit will be broadcasting the Detroit Tigers and FOX Sports Detroit Broadcast Auction to benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. The baskets feature items hand-selected by the Tigers Wives, including unique memorabilia and autographed items, along with their famous husbands' favorite things like restaurant gift cards, CDs, DVDs, snacks and more! The auction also includes baskets filled with the favorite things of some of your favorite FOX Sports Detroit personalities. Additionally, fans can bid on Tigers mascot, PAWS' "Favorite Things" basket exclusively online! The packages will be auctioned during the broadcast on FOX Sports Detroit and MLB.tv. Wednesday, September 10 at 7:10 vs. Kansas City Royals (Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.)
First Responders Recognition: The Tigers will celebrate the men and women of local fire and police departments and their dedication to our community through public service in a special pre-game on-field ceremony. The club will also honor the men and women who lost their lives during the attacks on September 11th, as well as local first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The Tigers donated 1,000 tickets to local firefighters and police officers so that they would have the opportunity to enjoy a game alongside their families. Select firefighters and police officers will be recognized for their service to our local communities prior to the national anthem. The Farmington Hills Fire and Police Departments provide a joint services honor guard to present the colors during the National Anthem and two first responders will throw a ceremonial first pitch as a guest of Miller Lite.

Friday, September 12 vs. Cleveland Indians at 7:08 p.m. (Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.)
- Third Annual Pink Out the Park: presented by Delta Air Lines. The Detroit Tigers and Karmanos Cancer Institute have teamed up to celebrate and honor those touched by breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the park to support breast health awareness. The first 10,000 women through the gates will receive a Pink Out the Park tote bag, courtesy of Delta Air Lines and there will be a special pre-game, on-field ceremony featuring hundreds of breast cancer survivors. Special Detroit Tigers pink dog tags will be available for purchase for $10 at all Comerica Park retail locations. Additionally, pink baseballs and bats autographed by Ian Kinsler, Joe Nathan, Torii Hunter, Omar Vizquel and Alex Avila will be available for purchase at the Tigers authentics kiosk behind section 134. A portion of the proceeds will benefit breast cancer research at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. In addition, Pink Out the Park tribute cheer cards, courtesy of FSD will be distributed to fans entering the ballpark and Karmanos will have Health Kiosks for fans to learn more about breast health at all gates. There will be a special on-field parade featuring more than 50 of your favorite Star Wars characters and music from the Michigan Philharmonic Brass Quintet, photo opportunities with characters at gates A and B, as well as Star Wars music throughout the concourse and special in-game surprises.
- The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Star Wars character Boba Fett.
- The national anthem will be performed by the Detroit Tigers and Southeast Michigan Ford Dealers' Third Annual O' Say Can You Sing contest winner Nick Sheehan.

- MLBPAA Heart and Hustle Award Presentation: Prior to the game Tigers infielder/outfielder Don Kelly will be recognized by the Players' Association as the Tigers recipient of the MLBPAA Heart and Hustle Award, given to active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and tradition of the game. The Heart and Hustle Award is also the only award in Major League Baseball that is voted on by former players.
- Jewish Heritage Day: Join the Detroit Tigers and local community organizations to celebrate the club's Jewish Heritage, including Tigers legend Hank Greenberg, the first Jewish player elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, on the 80th Anniversary of Greenberg leading the Tigers to the 1934 American League pennant.
