Blue Jays announce 2015 schedule

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS will open the home portion of the 2015 Championship Season on Monday April 13 at 7:07 pm with the commencement of a four-game set vs. AL East Division rivals, the Tampa Bay Rays. The first homestand is a 10-game, 11-day homestand that will also feature the Atlanta Braves (April 17-19) and the Baltimore Orioles (April 21-23).

The Blue Jays 39th season in the American League begins on Monday April 6 at Yankee Stadium where the club will open with three contests vs. the Yankees before concluding its inaugural trip of the season with three games in Baltimore. All four AL East rivals will make a visit to Toronto in its opening two homestands with New York and Boston coming to Rogers Centre from May 4-10.

Interleague play will see the Miami Marlins (June 8-10), New York Mets (June 17-18) and Philadelphia Phillies (July 28-29) make a visit to Toronto during the 2015 season. The Blue Jays will play 10 interleague games on the road with games against the Washington Nationals (June 1-3), New York Mets (June 15-16), Philadelphia Phillies (August 18-19) and Atlanta Braves (September 15-17).

The club will close out the home schedule with an all AL East 10-game set featuring the Red Sox (Sept 18-20), Yankees (Sept 21-23) and Rays (Sept 25-27), before embarking on the final roadtrip
