Dustin Pedroia Undergoes Successful Left Thumb/Wrist Surgery

BOSTON, MA - Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia today underwent a successful first dorsal compartment release and a tenosynovectomy of his left wrist.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Matt Leibman at Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley, MA.

Pedroia is expected to make a full recovery.
