Homestand Highlights - Reds vs. Brewers & Pirates

Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 - Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 7:10 p.m.

Bark in the Park: Tonight is the fourth and final Bark in the Park game this season, presented by Iams and Kroger. Over 600 dogs and their owners will be in a special seating area while the Kroger Fan Zone will turn into the "Dog Zone" with product samples and activities for both dogs and owners. A pregame parade with all the dogs and owners begins at 6:25 p.m. and the first 10,000 dog owners will receive a free car magnet. Dog tickets are sold out.

Roberto Clemente Award: Skip Schumaker will be recognized during pregame ceremonies for being the Reds nominee for the 2014 Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevrolet. Schumaker is one of the 30 Club finalists for the annual award which recognizes MLB players who best represent the game of baseball through positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement. Honorary Captains: Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Dhani Jones and current Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins will serve as tonight's Honorary Captains. The pair are joining us as part of Bowtie Tuesday, supporting the Bowtie Cause in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association and National Kidney Foundation.

Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 - Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 12:35 p.m.

First Pitch: Marissa Steen, a professional golfer on the LPGA's Symetra Tour, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Marissa is a 2008 graduate of Lakota West High School.

Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 - Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 7:10 p.m.

Fireworks: Post-game fireworks show starting approximately 10 minutes after the end of the game, presented by General Mills on behalf of Box Tops for Education and Kroger.

Toyota Tundra Donation: Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota dealers will donate a 2014 Toyota Tundra truck to the Reds Community Fund during pregame ceremonies. George Joseph, president of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota dealers, will present the keys to Charley Frank, the executive director of the Reds Community Fund. The truck will be used at the new P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy.

Urban Youth Academy Open House - Sept. 28: The P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy is hosting an Open House for the community on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. Activities will include Wiffle ball games, a home run derby, batting cage access and a baseball game featuring participants from the Reds Community Fund's Coldwell Banker West Shell "Match" program. Food and drink will be provided while supplies last. The Academy is located at 2026 E. Seymour Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45237 and offers free, year-round baseball and softball instruction along with educational and vocational opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-18 residing primarily in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky urban neighborhoods.
