Red Carpet Premiere presented by Budweiser at Peabody Opera House in St. Louis; Tickets & DVD Pre-Orders Now Available at WorldSeries.com

The Official 2011 World Series Film, documenting the epic run by the St. Louis Cardinals to their 11th World Series championship, hits stores on Tuesday, November 22. The film was created by Major League Baseball Productions and features behind-the-scenes access, never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews with all the key participants. This film is part of a tradition that dates back to 1943, when the U.S. State Department commissioned Major League Baseball to create a highlight reel of the World Series for troops fighting overseas.

Narrated by St. Louis native and Mad Men star Jon Hamm, the Official 2011 World Series Film can be pre-ordered on WorldSeries.com (DVD and Blu-ray), along with the 8-disc Collector's Edition, which includes all seven complete World Series games.

To celebrate the launch, Major League Baseball, the Cardinals and Budweiser are hosting a red-carpet premiere of the film on Tuesday, November 22 at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis. Tickets starting at $15 are now available at WorldSeries.com. Members of the Cardinals family and other VIPs are scheduled to attend the premiere.
