June 19th, 2017

ST. LOUIS -- Day 2 selectees Evan Kruczynski and Brett Seeburger highlight a group of 13 players who have agreed to terms and passed physicals since being drafted by the Cardinals last week.
Kruczynski and Seeburger, both college seniors, were taken in the MLB Draft's ninth and 10th rounds, respectively. None of the six players the Cardinals selected ahead of them have reached an agreement with the organization. That includes top two picks Scott Hurst (Cal State Fullerton) and Kramer Robertson (Louisiana State University), both of whom are participating in the College World Series. They cannot sign with the club until their college season ends.

All 13 players who agreed to terms have been placed on either the State College (Pa.) or Johnson City (Tenn.) roster. Both of the short-season clubs open play this week.
