Red Sox left-hander David Price makes his much anticipated season debut in today's Memorial Day series opener against the White Sox in Chicago at 2:10 p.m. ET on MLB.TV, one of 10 day games on the jam-packed 15-game slate. Price had been on the disabled list the first two months of the season with a left elbow strain.
After going 17-9 with a 3.99 ERA and leading the Major Leagues with 230 innings pitched in 2016, Price is ready to get back on the mound.
"There's not a better feeling. You can't replicate it anywhere else," Price said. "To be back here with my teammates, that's a good feeling.
"It's always tough. Even if we're 40-0 right now, it's still tough to not be out there, and to be able to contribute. The DL is not something that anybody wants to be on. But it's over now, and I'm excited for it."
Left-hander David Holmberg makes his first start for the White Sox this season. He's been successful in eight relief appearances for the club, tallying a 0.87 ERA in 10 1/3 innings.

American League East rivals square off: NYY @ BAL, 1:05 p.m.
With a tight race for the top spot in the AL East, the Yankees and Orioles will play a three-game series at Camden Yards.
Left-hander Jordan Montgomery gets the start for the Yankees after allowing one run on two hits in 6 2/3 innings against the Royals on Tuesday. In three road starts, the left-hander is 1-2 with a 4.58 ERA.

Orioles right-hander Dylan Bundy has lost his last two games, but has been an innings-eater this season. He's tossed at least six innings in all 10 starts, nine of which have been quality starts.
He tossed seven innings Tuesday against the Twins, allowing two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts.
Santana looks to continue strong start: HOU @ MIN, 2:10 p.m.
Ervin Santana will face one of the hottest teams in baseball, but he should be up for the task. The Twins right-hander tossed his second shutout of the season Tuesday, allowing just two hits against the Orioles.

After last week's stellar performance, opposing batters are hitting just .134 against Santana. He's had plenty of success against the Astros, going 3-0 with a 2.20 ERA in four career starts.
In a spot start last Monday for Dallas Keuchel, Astros right-hander Brad Peacock struck out eight batters in 4 1/3 scoreless innings. The right-hander, who's 2-0 with a 0.87 ERA, has allowed two earned runs in 20 2/3 innings this season.
Leake looking to dominate Dodgers for second straight start: LAD @ STL, 2:15 p.m.
Cardinals right-hander Mike Leake is on a roll. He's opened the season with nine straight quality starts, the longest such stretch of his career.

The National League ERA leader, Leake allowed just one run on four hits in eight innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday for his fifth win of the season. The outing lowered his ERA to 1.91.
Dodgers left-hander Rich Hill is coming off his toughest start of the season. He allowed five runs on four hits in four innings against the Cardinals for the loss. Hill, who's been dealing with a finger blister for much of the season, also allowed a career-high seven walks.
