2014 FIFA World Cup screening at Park at the Park has been canceled

SAN DIEGO - In light of recent news regarding the passing of Tony Gwynn, the San Diego Padres and Mayor Kevin Faulconer have announced today that plans to host a screening of the 2014 FIFA World Cup matches today and tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16 have been canceled. 

The Padres also announced that the Park at the Park area will be open until 11:30 p.m. PT tonight and tomorrow for all fans and San Diegans who wish to pay their respects at the statue of Tony Gwynn.
