Jon Hamm, Andrew Zimmern and James Denton Join Twins Legends and Minnesota Sports Stars as First Group Announced In The 2014 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game

Jon Hamm, from the hit show Mad Men and the new baseball film Million Dollar Arm, Minnesota residents and TV personalities Andrew Zimmern and James Denton will join Twins Legends Jack Morris and Jim Thome along with Minnesota sports stars Kevin Love of the Wolves, Maya Moore of the Lynx, Zach Parise of the Wild and Adrian Peterson of the Vikings in the 2014 MLB Taco Bell® All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on July 13th at Target Field. These players, who are all scheduled to participate, will play alongside additional stars from music, television and sports, who will be announced at a later date, along with other Baseball Legends. The Softball Game will air on ESPN immediately following the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14th.

The Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game is the second game of a fun doubleheader of activity at Target Field during Taco Bell All-Star Sunday. Preceding the softball game will be the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will air live on MLB Network at 4:00pm Central, featuring some of MLB's best young prospects from the U.S. and around the world. The first time 2014 All-Star Ambassador and Twins player Joe Mauer participated in an MLB All-Star event was in the 2003 All-Star Futures Game during All-Star Sunday, before being promoted to the Twins roster in 2004. 

Mad Men star Hamm, who returns for his fourth Softball Game, stars in Disney's newest baseball film Million Dollar Arm, which hits theaters on May 16th nationwide. Zimmern, a chef and television personality, who is the host of the Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, currently lives in Minnesota. Denton, best known for his role in the longtime hit series Desperate Housewives, who will be appearing in his 10th Softball Game, also lives in Minnesota where he and his family are Twins season ticket holders.

The Taco Bell® All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game will be televised by ESPN at approximately 10:30 p.m. Eastern immediately following the Home Run Derby which begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, July 14th. The Game will also be available via the WatchESPN app.
