ARLINGTON -- Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola is set to rejoin the Phillies' rotation Sunday in Pittsburgh.
Nola made his second rehab start Monday night with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, allowing two hits and one walk in 6 1/3 scoreless innings, with seven strikeouts.
"He pitched very well," Phillies manager Pete Mackanin said.
Nola has not pitched for the Phillies since April 20 because of a strained lower back. He went 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in three starts before the injury.
Nick Pivetta has been pitching in Nola's place and is scheduled to pitch Thursday afternoon against the Rangers. Jeremy Hellickson, Vince Velasquez and Nola will pitch in this weekend's three-game series against the Pirates at PNC Park.
Will coaching staff call pitches?
Phillies pitching coach Bob McClure spoke candidly Sunday in a radio interview with Phillies broadcaster Larry Andersen about Cameron Rupp calling the wrong pitch on Bryce Harper's walk-off home run Saturday night in Washington.

"I might have to start calling pitches," McClure said. "I don't know."
Mackanin said, however, that is not in the plans.
"You don't want to call a game, because the catchers will never learn how to call a game," Mackanin said. "They learn how to call a game when they [mess] it up."
Mackanin said he has seen improvement from Rupp's game-calling over the past couple seasons.
