Adam Dunn Makes Scott Carroll's Great Day Even Better
Nice gesture.
When 29-year-old rookie Scott Carroll turned in 7 1/3 strong innings for the White Sox in his MLB debut, he probably didn't think that his day could get any better. It did.
Carroll's teammate, Adam Dunn, offered a restaurant suggestion for the rookie and picked up the tab.
Carroll asked Dunn for restaurant suggestion. Dunn called O'Toole's, made res and said put it on my tab. Group was 30-plus.

Scott Carroll asked Adam Dunn for a recommendation for a good place that could also take all 35 of his family members postgame Sunday

Picking up dinner tabs seem to be the kind gesture of choice for big leaguers this season.
