Eaton launches first long ball with Nats

April 6th, 2017

WASHINGTON -- continued his hot start in his first three games with the Nationals, launching a solo home run to right-center field in the first inning of Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Marlins.
Eaton homered on the first pitch he saw from Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler. The ball came off his bat at 99 mph and traveled 383 feet, as measured by Statcast™.
The Nationals have to be thrilled with the early production they have received from Eaton, who was acquired in a trade with the White Sox this offseason in exchange for three of their top pitching prospects. He is now 3-for-10 with three walks, two doubles, a homer and four runs, already making an impact on the Nationals' lineup.
