Jones homers to extend hitting streak to 11

BALTIMORE -- Adam Jones homered in the first inning of Wednesday's contest against the Phillies at Camden Yards. It was Jones' seventh home run of the season, and gave the Orioles a 1-0 lead.

The Phillies came back to win the contest, 4-1.

Jones' homer, which was hit against Phillies right-hander Nick Pivetta, extended his hitting streak to 11 games. His career-long hitting streak is 20 games, from May 10-29, 2012.
