Adam Lind named Honda Player of the Month

TORONTO BLUE JAYS 1B ADAM LIND has been named the HONDA PLAYER OF THE MONTH for June by the TORONTO CHAPTER of the BBWAA. Honda, the official vehicle of the Blue Jays, will make a donation to the charity of Adam's choosing.

LIND, 30, batted .350 with seven home runs and 22 RBI while posting a .982 OPS ranking 7^th in the AL. The left-handed hitter is batting .364 vs. left-handed pitching (16-44) and has raised his overall average to .327 ranking 3^rd in the AL.

DH/1B Edwin Encarnacion (.277, 8HR, 20RBI) finished 2^nd in the voting, while RHP Esmil Rogers (2-1, 2.27 ERA) and RHP Steve Delabar (0.00 ERA, 10IP, 21K) finished 3^rd.
