Additional 2005 players scheduled to appear at World Series Championship Reunion Weekend in July

Joe Crede, Aaron Rowand and Geoff Blum Added to Weekend Activities; Friday Events Feature Postgame Concert, Fireworks

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox announced an expanded list of players from the 2005 team scheduled to appear at the World Series Championship Reunion Weekend, presented by Your Local Ford Stores, on July 17-19, including former White Sox outfielder Aaron Rowand, former third baseman Joe Crede and infielder Geoff Blum.

These additions join 2005 World Series Championship team members scheduled to appear, including: first baseman Paul Konerko and pitchers Jon Garland and Cliff Politte. Additional attending members of the 2005 team will be announced at a later date.

The White Sox also announced activities for Friday, July 17 during Reunion Weekend. Friday night will feature postgame fireworks, presented by Athletico, set to a special video tribute commemorating the 2005 World Series run. There also will be a postgame concert by Resurrection - A Journey Tribute act. Celebratory activities for the games on Saturday and Sunday also will be released at a later date.

Reunion Weekend continues on Sunday, July 19 with an event paying tribute to the 2005 team's accomplishments both on the field and behind the scenes called "A Season to Remember: A Night with the 2005 World Series Champions" at the iconic Chicago Theatre. Crede joins the list of players from the 2005 World Championship team members scheduled to appear throughout the weekend and the event. Fans can celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the World Series Championship with the 2005 World Series Anniversary Pack. Through this special ticket package, fans have the opportunity to secure tickets to any of the six anniversary commemorative games, including Reunion Weekend (July 17-19), and three games with a World Series Moment Bobbleheads giveaway featuring Bobby Jenks (presented by Comcast SportsNet on July 4), Scott Podsednik (presented by Wintrust Financial on August 1) and Jermaine Dye (presented by Pepsi on August 29). By purchasing three or more of those games, fans also will receive an additional game in September or October at no additional charge. The 2005 World Series Anniversary Pack features tickets to these games and promotional giveaway dates, but it does not guarantee the promotional item. Reunion Weekend wraps up on Monday, July 20 with the Field of Greens Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by Miller Lite. The tournament gives fans the opportunity to golf with current and former White Sox team members, with proceeds supporting pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital. Fans can visit whitesoxcharities.org for details or to register for the event.
