WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Astros manager A.J. Hinch on Wednesday laid out his starting pitchers for the team's first five Grapefruit League games.
Brad Peacock will start Saturday against the Tigers in Lakeland, Fla., Brady Rodgers on Sunday against the Braves in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Joe Musgrove on Monday against the Mets in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Mike Fiers on Tuesday against the Nationals in the first game at Ballpark of the Palm Beaches and Chris Devenski on Wednesday against the Nationals in the team's official spring home opener.
Hinch said the starters will go one or two innings the first time.

"We'll see how efficient the guys are," he said. "We're going to be cautious with their workload early. We want to leave open the idea if a guy has a quick first inning, we might send him out for the second."
Musgrove and Fiers are battling for the final spot in Houston's rotation, while Devenski -- the team's Pitcher of the Year last season as a reliever -- is being stretched out as a starter. Dallas Keuchel, Lance McCullers Jr. and Collin McHugh are on individualized throwing programs and won't get into games until March.
Other pitchers scheduled to throw Saturday are relievers James Hoyt, Kevin Chapman, Jandel Gustave, Cy Sneed and Brian Holmes.
Odds and ends
• Shortstop Carlos Correa, who had been eased into drills since having his wisdom teeth removed Thursday, participated in full workouts Wednesday, including taking infield and batting practice. The Astros had a short day of workouts by design.
