Andrew McCutchen dressed up as the Black Panther in anticipation of a search for vibranium

Earlier this month, Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen's 2019 season came to a premature end when he injured his knee running the bases. The injury put Cutch's promising Rock-Paper-Scissors career on hold, but potentially opened up an opportunity to develop his burgeoning talents as a filmmaker.

In his latest Instagram short film, Cutch cast himself in the lead role of the Black Panther and promised that with the help of Wakandan vibranium -- don't worry, he assured us it's not a performance-enhancing drug -- he plans to not only return to the field, but come back better than ever.

From the way he defiantly throws down his crutches at the start to his promise to find a store of vibranium, this short film should remove any doubts about Cutch's ability to come back from his injury. In fact, he may have found a post-playing career as Chadwick Boseman's successor as the Black Panther.
