'The Machine' ties Bonds on hits list

Pujols now 36th on all-time chart after key single

ANAHEIM -- Angels slugger Albert Pujols collected the 2,934th and 2,935th hits of his career during the Angels' 7-6 comeback win over the Astros on Saturday night, tying Barry Bonds for 36th place on the all-time list.

Pujols (aka "The Machine for Players Weekend) picked up a base hit in the fourth and then delivered a two-out bloop single in the eighth to help set the stage for the Angels' big four-run inning.
