Pujols now 36th on all-time chart after key single

ANAHEIM -- Angels slugger collected the 2,934th and 2,935th hits of his career during the Angels' 7-6 comeback win over the Astros on Saturday night, tying Barry Bonds for 36th place on the all-time list.
Pujols (aka "The Machine for Players Weekend) picked up a base hit in the fourth and then delivered a two-out bloop single in the eighth to help set the stage for the Angels' big four-run inning.
The 37-year-old veteran is batting .232 with a .655 OPS over 118 games for the Angels this season.
