Here's a look at top prospects to watch in today's Minor League action:
Hitter to watch:Willy Adames (Rays' No. 1), Durham vs. Charlotte (6:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Adames, MLB Pipeline's No. 16 overall prospect, connected on his sixth home run in a 2-for-4 performance on Monday for Triple-A Durham. The 21-year-old shortstop improved his average to .280 with the multihit performance, his second in as many games, and he's now hitting .364 with 13 extra-base hits in 30 games since the beginning of June.

Pitcher to watch: Jaime Barria (Angels' No. 8), Mobile vs. Mississippi (7:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Barria has gone two straight start for Double-A Mobile without allowing an earned run -- the first of which marked his first career shutout. The 20-year-old righty has been lights-out since moving up to the Southern League, where he's posted a 0.76 ERA and WHIP while holding opposing hitters to a .179 average across 23 2/3 innings (four starts).

Duel of the day: Beau Burrows (Tigers' No. 3) vs. Dan Slania (Giants' No. 19), Erie at Richmond (6:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Burrows, 20, was sharp in his first two turns for Double-A Erie, going 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA while logging 10 innings. The young righty has struggled since then, though, as he's allowed 14 earned runs on 19 hits in 13 1/3 innings (9.45 ERA) across his last three starts. He's still having a strong season overall, however, with a 2.74 ERA and 82-to-23 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 82 innings (16 starts) between the two levels.

Slania is set to start for the first time since returning from the Major Leagues, where he tossed a scoreless inning on June 30 in his big league debut. Prior to his promotion, the 25-year-old right-hander had pitched to a 1.93 ERA over 18 2/3 innings (three starts) for Richmond.
