TEMPE, Ariz. -- Angels reliever Cam Bedrosian is dealing with lower-body stiffness and is expected to refrain from throwing the next couple days.
Bedrosian said he tweaked his groin during pitchers fielding practice Tuesday, but he doesn't believe the injury is anything serious.
"Everything's moving fine," Bedrosian said.

The 25-year-old right-hander enjoyed a breakout season for the Angels in 2016, logging a 1.12 ERA over 40 1/3 innings before undergoing season-ending surgery in September to repair a blood clot in his pitching arm. Bedrosian will compete for the closer job this spring alongside veteran relievers Huston Street and Andrew Bailey.
Utility infielder Cliff Pennington, who has the flu, was also absent from Wednesday's workout.
Cowart tweaks swing: Switch-hitting infielder Kaleb Cowart has made some alterations to his swing in an attempt to improve his offense. Over the past two seasons, Cowart has hit .176 in limited stints with the Angels.

"In past years, I feel like I was going back with my weight too far backward instead of being able to go forward and through the ball," the 25-year-old Cowart said. "So I made that adjustment where I don't go back as far, just kind of go into the ball. I watched a lot of really good hitters and saw what they did, and I wanted to do that."
Cowart, a first-round Draft pick of the Angels in 2010, likely will open the season at Triple-A Salt Lake.
