Angels give fans Snapchat tour of spring

March 12th, 2016

Long before the Angels played to an 8-4 victory over the Dodgers on the field on Friday, the club had already started treating fans to an inside look at a typical Spring Training day off the field, courtesy of Snapchat.
As part of Major League Baseball Snapchat Day, the Angels used the app to take fans behind the scenes. The league-wide event featured MLB and all 30 clubs publishing Snapchat stories throughout the day to give fans an up-close view of Spring Training.

The Angels' Snapchat story began with a shot of the groundscrew touching up the Halos' logo behind home plate before switching to a video of the team warming up -- including one player doing a headstand -- in the outfield.
The team wrapped up its Snapchat story with videos of batting practice, including shots of Mike Trout taking his cuts in the cage before wishing fans a "Happy Snapchat day from the Angels."
