Another no-hitter means free pizza today

Baseball's third no-hitter this season means more free Domino's pizza.

The Phillies, who combined to also no-hit the Braves on Labor Day 2014 to bring free pizza, registered another #DomiNoNo on Saturday at Wrigley Field in a 5-0 win over the Cubs. It was the 13th no-no in Phillies history and the first at Wrigley since 1972.

Starting today at 3 p.m. ET, the first 20,000 baseball fans who visit and log in at MLB.com/dominos will receive a code for a free, two-topping medium Handmade Pan Pizza.

The DomiNoNo offer is available until 20,000 codes are given away, or for five days starting at 3 p.m. ET on the business day following the no-hitter.

"What better way to celebrate one of the greatest achievements in sports -- the no-hitter -- than with free pizza?" Domino's spokesperson Tim McIntryre said. "Domino's is excited to be partnering with MLB.com to continue giving baseball fans a delicious way to get in on the excitement."

This was the third no-hitter and Domino's free pizza giveaway in 2015, following the ones last month by the Giants and Nationals. The pizza codes went quick then, so act fast. There have been 242 no-hitters since 1901, an average of more than two per season.
