Bradley to start opener against Rockies

D-backs will give rotation an extra day of rest during busy stretch

ATLANTA -- Archie Bradley will be called up from Triple-A Reno to start Monday in place of Rubby De La Rosa when the D-backs take on the Rockies at Coors Field.
With Arizona in a stretch of 36 games in 37 days, manager Chip Hale said they wanted to give their starters each an extra day of rest. So Bradley will pitch Monday, with De La Rosa going Tuesday.
To make room on the roster, the team optioned reliever Enrique Burgos to Reno.
"We're excited to see him," Hale said of Bradley. "His outing was fantastic last time out, good reports so he'll get a shot and then we believe we'll have to make another move after the game to get another reliever in there."
So Bradley will be sent down after Monday's game?
"It's probably a spot start," Hale confirmed. "But you never know in this game."
