DENVER -- Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado, shortstop Trevor Story and outfielder Carlos Gonzalez are making late pushes for starting positions for the National League for the 87th All-Star Game presented by MasterCard on July 12 in San Diego, according to the update released Monday.
Voting ends at 9:59 p.m. MT on Thursday. Fans can submit up to five ballots per any 24-hour period, with a maximum of 35 ballots per account, exclusively at MLB.com and all 30 clubs sites using the 2016 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot.

Rosters for American and National Leagues will be revealed at 5 p.m. MT on July 5 during the one-hour Esurance All-Star Selection Show on ESPN.
The Rockies' gain has mostly been the Cubs' loss.
The Cubs dominated at all four infielder spots for the past month. But as of Monday's update, first baseman Anthony Rizzo, still holding a narrow lead over Mike Trout in the race for top overall vote-getter, is the only shoo-in.

In voting since Wednesday's last update, Arenado has outgained Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant, 564,998 votes to 388,966. Story, a rookie, outgained Cubs shortstop Addison Russell, 313,545 to 251,184. However, a late charge is coming from Dodgers rookie Corey Seager, who received more support than Story or Russell since Wednesday, with 379,204.
Gonzalez also moved from seventh to sixth -- a spot ahead of the Cubs' Jorge Soler -- among outfielders in a strong week of voting. Gonzalez gained 375,692 votes since the last update -- more than the fourth-place (Cubs Jason Heyward) and fifth-place (Brewers' Ryan Braun) outfielders. The top three will be starters.
Rockies center fielder Charlie Blackmon held at 13th place.
Depending on how the rest of the voting goes, the Rockies' contingent could be dependent upon peer voting, which ended Sunday. Through this route, DJ LeMahieu -- who isn't among the top-five vote-getters at his second base -- and Blackmon could be rewarded for standout, under-the-radar performances.
LeMahieu, who suffered a right knee contusion during Sunday's 9-7 victory over the D-backs and was not in the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays, has an .893 OPS -- second among NL second basemen to the .986 of the Nationals' Daniel Murphy. LeMahieu's 29 extra-base hits also were second to Murphy's 36.
While proud of his season, LeMahieu, who ended up starting last year's game because of an injury to the Marlins' Dee Gordon, said he understands that his economical style doesn't make folks run to the computer to vote.
"I don't think too many people buy tickets to watch me play," said LeMahieu, who said he hasn't given the All-Star Game much thought but going would be nice. "I don't have much flair. I feel like doing my job is hard enough, so I can't worry about anything else. But that's just me."
Blackmon, the reigning National League Player of the Week, entered Monday with an .888 OPS, which is second to the Cardinals' Matt Carpenter among NL leadoff hitters. Blackmon's 12 homers, which included five in the previous seven games, ranked him third among leadoff hitters. Carpenter and the Mets' Curtis Granderson were tied for the lead at 13.
"It would be great to know that my peers appreciate the game that I play and consider me for the All-Star Game, but it's not something I really think about a lot," Blackmon said.
