Futures Game rosters and scouting reports
The 22-year-old was selected in the 10th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Brewers. He was dealt to the D-backs in 2014 as part of the trade for outfielder Gerardo Parra.
Banda went 6-2 with a 2.12 ERA in 13 starts for Double-A Mobile earlier this season. He was then promoted to Reno, where he made his first start Sunday, allowing seven runs (six earned) in five innings in a loss.
