The Arizona Fall League released the schedule for its 2014 campaign on Wednesday, with the upcoming season featuring games from early October through mid-November. Five Maricopa County facilities will host Arizona Fall League games, which will be played between Monday and Saturday.

Opening Day will be staged on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and the league's championship game will be held Saturday, Nov. 15th at Scottsdale Stadium. The league's Fall Stars Game, which will feature many of the game's best prospects, will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at Salt River Fields.

Cubs Park, the new home of the Chicago Cubs in Mesa, Ariz., will become the new home of the Mesa Solar Sox this year. Surprise Stadium will host two teams, the defending champion Surprise Saguaros and Peoria Javelinas, due to ongoing stadium renovations at the Peoria Sports Complex.

Camelback Ranch-Glendale will host the Glendale Desert Dogs, and the Salt River Rafters will still call Salt River Fields home. The Scottsdale Scorpions will play home games at Scottsdale Stadium.

The Mesa team will be comprised of players from the Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, Cubs and Nationals farm systems. The Salt River Rafters will carry players from Houston, Arizona, Miami, Colorado and Minnesota, and Scottsdale will have players from the Giants, Mets, Phillies, Pirates and Yankees.

The Glendale team will have prospects from the Brewers, Dodgers, Orioles, Tigers and White Sox, and Peoria will be constructed of players from the Braves, Cardinals, Indians, Rays and Royals. Surprise will have players from the Mariners, Padres, Rangers, Red Sox and Reds.
