Arizona Fall League reveals 2013 schedule

Season concludes with annual championship game on Nov. 16 at Scottsdale Stadium

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Director Steve Cobb announced the 2013 Arizona Fall League schedule featuring six teams comprised of many of Major League Baseball's top prospects from every MLB organization.

This year the league plays Monday-Saturday at five Maricopa County Spring Training stadiums from early October until mid-November. Opening Day for the 2013 season is Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The league concludes with its annual championship game on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Scottsdale Stadium.

The popular Rising Stars All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2 at Surprise Stadium. Game times are 12:35 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. (exceptions noted).

Venues 
Camelback Ranch-Glendale, the spring home of the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, becomes the new home of the Glendale Desert Dogs this year. Also, Surprise Stadium will host both the Surprise Saguaros and the defending champion Peoria Javelinas during stadium renovations at the Peoria Sports Complex.

The other three venues -- Mesa Hohokam Stadium (Mesa Solar Sox), Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (Salt River Rafters) and Scottsdale Stadium (Scottsdale Scorpions) -- remain the same.
