Dean Kremer, RHP, Orioles No. 8
Kremer’s impressive Fall League campaign continued Tuesday as he spun four scoreless innings for Surprise against Peoria. The Orioles’ No. 8 prospect worked the first three frames without allowing a hit but surrendered a leadoff single in the fourth. It proved the only hit Kremer would allow in the outing, as he finished with two walks and five strikeouts on 59 pitches (36 strikes).

Jahmai Jones, 2B, Angels No. 5
It turned out to be Jones who provided the Angels (and Mesa) with his first Fall League homer, a solo shot to left in the fifth. He also drove in a run with a single in the second inning to get Mesa on the board. He’s now hit in nine of his 11 games and has brought his average up to .297.

Tristan Beck, RHP, Giants No. 18
Beck has surrendered one earned run or fewer in four of his five AFL starts after giving up one earned run on four hits Tuesday. The right-hander, who worked 4 2/3 innings, faced the minimum through three innings, but ran into a bit of trouble in the fourth as he walked the leadoff man, who eventually came around to score. Beck was able to escape the frame and now has a 2.95 ERA in Arizona.

Alec Bohm, 3B, Phillies No. 1
Bohm crushed the first pitch he saw out to left-center field. The No. 34 overall prospect hit a changeup 410 feet with an exit velocity of 104.6 mph for his second AFL homer. Bohm, who is now hitting .356, finished the game 2-for-4.

Ashton Goudeau, RHP, Rockies
Goudeau has been one of the better relievers throughout the Arizona Fall League and proved so once again Tuesday. The right-hander threw 20 of his 24 pitches for strikes and struck out four over two scoreless innings. Goudeau has yet to allow a run through five appearances (11 1/3 innings) and has also struck out 15 in that span (while surrendering just four hits).

Tanner Houck, RHP, Red Sox No. 5
Houck surrendered one run in five innings for a second straight start as he lowered his Fall League ERA to 2.79. The Red Sox's No. 5 prospect threw 50 of 79 pitches for strikes in the outing as he scattered three hits, issued one walk and struck out five. After two shaky starts at the outset of the AFL, Houck, a former first-round pick (2017), has racked up 17 strikeouts and allowed just two runs on 10 hits across his last 14 innings (three starts).

Jeren Kendall, OF, Dodgers
Mesa had tied the score at 3 in the top of the fifth inning before Kendall came to the plate in the bottom of that frame. His solo home run, his third of the fall, gave Glendale the eventual game-winning run.

Kyle Isbel, OF, Royals No. 8
Isbel hit a single in his first at-bat and then provided Surprise with key insurance runs in the eighth via a two-run triple. The Royals’ No. 8 prospect finished 2-for-4 from the leadoff spot, improving his Fall League average to .356. He also picked up his fifth stolen base, which is good for third in the circuit.

Vidal Brujan, 2B/SS, Rays No. 3
Brujan led off the game with a base hit and reached base three times as he also drew a pair of walks. The shortstop, who is batting .308 in Arizona, finished 1-for-2. He also showed off his elite speed by stealing his fourth base of the fall.

Bobby Wahl, RHP, Brewers No. 29
After giving up eight earned runs on seven hits and three walks in just one inning over his first two appearances in nearly 15 months, Wahl was much more effective out of Glendale’s bullpen on Tuesday, striking out two in a perfect seventh. Acquired from the Mets in the Keon Broxton deal in January, the 27-year-old reliever missed the entire season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during Spring Training.
