Braves DFA Masset, Eveland

ATLANTA -- The Braves have designated relievers Nick Masset and Dana Eveland for assignment and promoted Arodys Vizcaino and David Carpenter from Triple-A Gwinnett after their 4-0, 10-inning loss to the Phillies on Sunday.

Vizcaino recently came off of an 80-game suspension for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs and has posted a 5.62 ERA in eight innings this season throughout the Minors.

Carpenter has thrown 37 innings in the Minors this season and has posted a 0.73 ERA while striking out 36 batters and walking 15.
