A's Announce 2017 Regular Season Schedule

The Oakland Athletics will open the 2017 season at home and will host weekend series against the Yankees and Red Sox, Interleague Play against the NL East, and matchups against the cross-bay rival San Francisco Giants, during the 2017 regular season, the team announced today.

The Oakland Athletics will open the 2017 season at home and will host weekend series against the Yankees and Red Sox, Interleague Play against the NL East, and matchups against the cross-bay rival San Francisco Giants, during the 2017 regular season, the team announced today. 
Opening Day is set for Monday, April 3 when the A's begin a four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels at the Oakland Coliseum, followed by a trip to Texas and Kansas City. The American League West will take on the National League East for Interleague Play, which will consist of eight home matchups against the Miami Marlins, Washington Nationals, and Atlanta Braves, and road games in New York (Mets), Philadelphia and Miami.
The A's will be home for three of the summer's holidays - Father's Day, July 4th and Labor Day, and will host fireworks shows following games against the Yankees, Red Sox, White Sox, Twins, Orioles and Rangers. A six-game homestand versus the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners will close out the home schedule before wrapping up the regular season on the road against the Rangers.
