A's announce March 12 game time change

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland Athletics have agreed to move the start time for their March 12 Spring Training game against the visiting Seattle Mariners to 12:00 p.m. MST. This adjustment from the original 1:05 p.m. MST time slot is to accommodate a request by Major League Baseball, which is collaborating with HBO to film a special that day in Arizona.

This production, which also will include live tapings at four other Spring Training ballparks on March 12, will be dedicated to the fight against cancer and will include a charitable component and an awareness campaign. Further details will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the March 12 game are available at athletics.com. Parking lots will open at 9 a.m. and gates will open at 10 a.m. Tickets already purchased with the original 1:05 p.m. MST time listed will be valid for the new start time.
