A's announce nine roster moves

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland A's optioned left-handed pitcher Andrew Werner and right-handed pitcher Jesse Chavez to Triple-A Sacramento and right-handed pitcher Michael Ynoa to Single-A Beloit, the club announced today.  The A's also reassigned six non-roster invitees to their minor league camp, including right-handed pitcher Kyler Newby, catchers Ryan Ortiz and Beau Taylor, and infielders Miles Head, Jefry Marte and Addison Russell.

The A's now have 47 players in camp.  That includes 38 players on the 40-man roster and nine non-roster invitees.  The breakdown includes 22 pitchers, four catchers, 13 infielders and eight outfielders.
