The Oakland fire chief said at least nine people have been confirmed dead and many more have been unaccounted for after a three-alarm fire broke out inside a warehouse where people had gathered for an electronic music party at live-work space in the Fruitvale district.
The warehouse, known as the Ghost Ship, is located at 305 31st Ave. in Oakland. Friends and family members affected by the fire are going to 2425 East 12th Street to get help. Anyone affected by this fire is encouraged to call 510-382-3000 to get information.
