A's option two players and reassign three to minor league camp

The Oakland A's optioned right-handed pitcher Arnold Leon to Triple-A Nashville and right-handed pitcher Raul Alcantara to Double-A Midland, the club announced today. In addition the A's also reassigned right-handed pitcher Angel Castro and left-handed pitchers Jim Fuller and Rudy Owens to their minor league camp.

The A's now have 57 players in camp, which does not include two players on the 60-day disabled list. That includes 38 players on the 40-man roster, which is full, and 19 non-roster invitees. The breakdown includes 27 pitchers, six catchers, 17 infielders and seven outfielders.
