The Oakland A's outrighted right-handed pitchers Henderson Alvarez and Jarrod Parker and left-handed pitcher Felix Doubront to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.
 
Alvarez was signed by the A's as a free agent Dec. 28, 2015 and began the season on the disabled list as he rehabbed from July 28, 2015 shoulder surgery. He went 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA in 11 starts on three separate rehab assignments, each cut short due to shoulder problems, and did not pitch for Oakland in 2016. Alvarez underwent another surgery on his right shoulder Sept. 20, 2016.
 
Doubront underwent UCL reconstruction surgery on April 12, 2016 and missed the entire season. He logged a 1-1 record and a 5.82 ERA in six games, including four starts, during the spring and made the A's Opening Day Roster as the fifth starter. However, he left his final spring training start after one inning with a sprained left elbow and was placed on the disabled list on Opening Day.
 
Parker re-fractured the medial epicondyle in his right elbow on March 11 and underwent surgery April 1. Dr. Neal ElAttrache reconstructed the medial compartment of Parker's elbow including reconstructing the flexor tendon and ulnar collateral ligament complex. It was Parker's fourth surgery on his elbow. Parker was acquired from Arizona following the 2011 season and went 25-16 with a 3.73 ERA in 61 starts in two seasons with the A's. He last pitched in the majors in 2013.
