Play-by-play voice Ford previews 2016 Astros

April 2nd, 2016

HOUSTON -- MLB.com had a chance to talk with Astros radio play-by-play voice Robert Ford during the spring to discuss the Astros and the upcoming season, including some of the issues that Astros fans will be concerned about entering 2016.
The Astros are talented this year and are balancing expectations of a team some expect to go the World Series. Still, they're unproven at first base, lack offensive production at catcher and tend to pile up the strikeouts, but the good outweighs the bad.
Ford discussed the depth of the starting pitching rotation, how the back end of the bullpen might look and the anticipation of having Carlos Correa, Carlos Gomez and George Springer in the lineup and sparking the offense for a full season.
