In celebration of the Final Season at Turner Field, the Atlanta Braves will be hosting a FanFest at the ballpark on Saturday, January 30. The day will include autograph sessions, panel discussions, photo stations and more. FanFest is free and open to the public, and will take place from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
"We are opening the doors to Turner Field this winter to give fans an intimate experience in the ballpark and kick off the final season celebrations," said Braves Vice President of Marketing Adam Zimmerman. "From autographs to tours, the day will be full of unique opportunities for fans to create new Turner Field memories and reflect on old ones."
Autograph sessions will be held throughout the day with current players, alumni and broadcasters. Each session will have several stations set up for autographs, and fans will be given a map of the locations and players upon entry to Turner Field. Fans will also have the chance to snap photos with players and alumni at separate photo stations that will be open during the day.*
In between these sessions, fans can attend panel discussions featuring current players, top prospects, alumni and front office executives. All discussions will be held in the Champions Room of the 755 Club.
For the youngest fans in attendance, a Kids Reading Room will be set up in the 755 Club. During the day, youth 14 and younger can take part in a kids-only press conference, interact with the Home Depot tools and attend a book reading with a Braves player.
Additionally, tours of Turner Field will be offered every fifteen minutes starting from the Club Level behind home plate. Concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase, and other Braves items will be on sale at the Atlanta Braves Foundation's "Yard Sale," taking place on the Club Level.
The Braves will also be running a winter clothing drive during FanFest to benefit the Atlanta Mission. Fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats, boots, gloves, scarves, hats, blankets, socks, long sleeve shirts, long pants, sweaters, umbrellas or rain ponchos. Fans can drop off their items upon entry to FanFest, and the donated items will go to thousands of Atlanta's underserved seniors, adults and children.
Additional details will be released at a later date. Please visit www.Braves.com/fanfest for more information.
*Autographs and photos are not guaranteed and lines for each station will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is free and available in the Green Lot across from Turner Field.
