Atlanta Braves Make Spring Roster Moves

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Atlanta Braves trimmed their spring roster by six players today, as four players were optioned and two were reassigned to minor league camp.

Infielder Jose Peraza was optioned to Gwinnett (AAA), while right-handed pitcher Tyrell Jenkins was optioned to Mississippi (AA) and right-handed pitcher Mauricio Cabrera and left-handed pitcher Yean Carlos Gil were optioned to Carolina (A). Left-handed pitcher Brady Feigl and catcher Jose Yepez were reassigned.

Atlanta now has 47 active players remaining in its Major League camp. The Braves begin the 2015 campaign on Monday, April 6, at Miami (4:10 p.m., SportSouth).
