Atlanta Braves Seeking Talented Bands to Perform at Home Games in 2012

Bands who want a chance to play at Turner Field and gain exposure for their group can submit their information online now at braves.com/bravesbands for the opportunity to perform live and entertain thousands of fans before a home game this upcoming season. The deadline for submissions is March 9th.

"There is an abundance of great musical talent in our region," said Scott Cunningham, Braves Director of Game Entertainment. "This contest lets us tap into that talent and entertain our fans, while supporting up and coming musicians."

Bands selected to perform before a home game during the 2012 season will receive free tickets for their band members to that night's game and a special discount code to pass along to their fans. One group will be named the "Braves Band of the Year" and win a free suite to a game during the first homestand of 2013. The "Band of the Year" will be chosen by the Braves game entertainment staff, who will judge the groups based on combination of factors including crowd participation and enthusiasm.
