May 17th, 2016

Tuesday, May 24, when the Mariners meet the Oakland Athletics (7:10 p.m. start), is "Bark at the Park" at Safeco Field.
The price is $40 for each person bringing a dog. The ticket includes a special Mariners leash and a walk around the bases postgame. Additional tickets in the Bark at the Park sections are $20 (without a dog).
Seattle Humane's mobile pet adoption bus will be on the plaza next to the Safeco Field garage and a table staffed by volunteers will be inside the ballpark with information about the process of finding a good match for people and pets from the shelter.

Tickets for the game are now available only at Mariners.com/Bark. Only those who purchased tickets for themselves and their dogs through the special offer will be allowed to bring a dog to Safeco Field. (Exceptions are always made for service dogs.) All participating dogs must be at least six months old, have current vaccinations, be fully housetrained and on a leash at all times.

All dogs and their owners will be required to check-in at the Bark at the Park registration table outside Safeco Field prior to entry into the ballpark. The special Bark at the Park entrance is next to the Left Field Gate (near The Mitt sculpture). All gates open at 5:10 p.m.

Bark at the Park dogs will only be allowed in the designated View Level seating and concourse areas where activities, water and "comfort stations" for the dogs are located. Veterinarians will be on site before, during and after the game in case of emergency.

After the game, all Bark at the Park participants are invited down on field to take a walk around the bases. Other Bark at the Park dates are Tuesday, August 9, vs. Detroit Tigers, and Tuesday, September 6, vs. Texas Rangers.
