BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Want to have dinner with Ken Griffey Jr., Buster Posey, Bruce Bochy, Terry Francona, Tommy Lasorda, Dave Roberts, Bud Selig and Larry King?

Attend Saturday night's Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation "In the Spirit of the Game" spectacular at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Foundation co-founder Dennis Gilbert and his crew have put together another star-studded lineup for the fundraiser, which benefits baseball scouts in need. MLB Network's Matt Vasgersian, Joe Magrane and Heidi Watney will host.

This will be the 15th annual edition of the event, which has become a can't-miss gathering for the industry. More than $2 million has been raised by the Foundation.

"It's become the best baseball dinner in America, and when we did it the first time, I didn't know what to expect," said Gilbert, now an executive with the Chicago White Sox. "Over the 15 years, we've helped more than 100 scouts and their families. That's what this dinner is about."

Scouts being honored Saturday night include Dave Yoakum, Stan Zielinski, Dan Jennings, Jack Gillis, Bruce Kison, Ken "Squeaky" Parker and Gene Watson.

Ken Gurnick has covered the Dodgers since 1989, and for MLB.com since 2001.
