After rain washed out Day 4 of the Little League World Series on Sunday, fans in Williamsport were excited to have sunny skies for Day 5. And once the games started, onlookers were treated to the arrival of baseball's Commissioner as well as plenty of exciting matchups on the diamond.
When play resumed on Monday, Latin America edged out Australia in the first game of the afternoon with a walk-off walk, and New York defeated Tennessee with Commissioner Rob Manfred in attendance; the Commissioner is a big supporter of youth sports and is in fact a Little League grad himself. South Korea then shut out Canada 10-0, thanks to a combination of dominant pitching and potent hitting, and Kentucky won the final game of the night, scoring an incredible 10 runs in extra innings to beat Iowa in a back-and-forth affair.
