SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Walt Weiss knows who will take the mound for the Rockies on Opening Day against the Diamondbacks. He just isn't saying.
The top two options are left-hander Jorge De La Rosa and right-hander Chad Bettis, both of whom made their first start of the spring the past two days.

What is keeping Weiss from making an announcement? He hasn't told the players involved.
"It hasn't been a priority," he said Friday morning.
"I'm sure we'll announce it soon. We're getting close to having to lock things up here."
De La Rosa is coming off a season in which he was 9-7 with a 4.17 ERA, but he hasn't fared well at Chase Field, where the Rockies will start the season April 4.
"When you're looking for a No. 1, he's been that guy," Weiss said. "He's been one of the best in our franchise's history."
Bettis had a breakout season a year ago, when he was 8-6 with a 4.23 ERA.
"I feel very confident with him out there," Weiss said. "We saw plenty last year, and everything we've seen so far early in camp dictates he's on course again."
Bettis tossed three innings of no-hit, three-strikeout ball Friday in his '16 Cactus debut.
Kyle Kendrick was last season's Opening Day starter -- and he shut out the Brewers for seven innings. De La Rosa didn't make his first start until April 20, and Bettis was added to the rotation later in the year.
Whoever starts the 2016 opener, Weiss said the Rockies will rely on all their starters this season.
"Once Opening Day is over it's just kind of your rotation," he said. "I know people make a lot of Opening Day; it's a special day. But you don't want to make too much of it, don't what to overthink this thing.
"It's always nice to win Opening Day, I'm not going to deny that. But I think the tone can be set every day, really."
