Big Red Machine bobblehead for June: Dan Dreissen

The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum's 2012 Big Red Machine bobblehead series, presented by Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, continues in June with the release of the Dan Driessen bobblehead, the third in the six bobblehead collection.

A Red from 1973 - 1984, Driessen was one of the finest defensive first basemen of his era and during the 1976 World Series became the first designated hitter in National League history.

Driessen will be inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame during the 2012 Reds Hall of Fame Induction Weekend (June 22-24) along with Sean Casey and the late John Reilly.

The Dan Driessen bobbleheads are free with full-price paid admission to the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in June, while supplies last.

There is a strict limit of one bobblehead per ticket purchaser per day and the limited number of bobbleheads available for public distribution are expected to will go quickly.

The best way to ensure a bobblehead is through the purchase of a museum membership. For more information or to purchase a membership, please visit the membership page on redsmuseum.org or call (513) 765-7923.
