Joel set for fourth concert at Citizens Bank Park

The Piano Man is returning to Citizens Bank Park.

Legendary musician Billy Joel will play his fourth concert at the Phillies' ballpark on Aug. 13, which marks the most by any live performer in the venue's history.

"This year marks the 10th anniversary of concerts at Citizens Bank Park," said Phillies senior vice president of administration and operations Michael Stiles. "We are proud to lead off with the exciting news that legendary artist Billy Joel will take to the stage for the fourth time at our world-class ballpark on Thursday, Aug. 13, performing here more than any other entertainer in the history of Citizens Bank Park."

Joel has sold 150 million records throughout his historic career, making him the sixth-best-selling recording artist of all time. Joel is also the recipient of six Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award.

Joel, who has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, received The Kennedy Center Honors, one of the United States' top cultural awards, in December 2013.

Tickets for the performance go on sale Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. ET.
